Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nursing position located in a healthcare facility, offering a rotating shift schedule. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong clinical skills and trauma experience. The position spans approximately three months, beginning October 12, 2026, and ending January 9, 2027, with a schedule of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN); two or more years of experience in level II trauma emergency room nursing; location requirements; no minimum years of experience if not specified
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment at any Johns Hopkins health system facility in any capacity (staff, PRN, travel). If applicable, this must be noted on the cover sheet and in the work history.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a minimum of two years of ER level II trauma experience and all required certifications. Previous employment verification with Johns Hopkins system facilities must be completed prior to offer, with at least one full year of absence if previously employed as a staff, perm, or PRN employee and intending to apply as a traveler.
