Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in en_US. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a telemetry background with at least two years of med/surg experience. The role requires proficiency in electronic medical records, such as EPIC, and may include float responsibilities within the onsite skill set or to sites within 40 miles, if necessary. The assignment starts on 09/28/2026 and concludes on 12/27/2026, with a 12-hour night shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

• Shift: Nights (12-hour shift)
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of medical-surgical experience, proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC), travel experience preferred. Additional requirements include no artificial or acrylic nails, and nails must be kept short (1/4 inch).
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry background required (ability to read telemetry strips).
• Additional Information: The role may require onsite float within the same skill set or to sites within a 40-mile radius, if needed. The candidate must complete all Ascension-specific selection and verification processes, including skills checklists and references.
