Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technologist (OR Technician) This travel assignment is located in an acute care healthcare facility. The role involves preparing and managing the operating room, including sterile field setup, passing instruments during surgery, and maintaining surgical supplies. The position requires ensuring patient safety and supporting surgical team members throughout procedures. The assignment begins on October 5, 2026, and concludes on January 4, 2027, with a schedule of dayshift, 10 hours per shift, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technologist following successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program; certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting; at least 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; Robotics experience; location requirements as specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in operating room settings with robotics; strong sterile technique skills; ability to work in high-pressure environments.
• Additional Information: Surgical Technologists prepare the operating room environment, assist during surgeries by passing instruments and managing supplies, perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign object retention, and manage surgical equipment. Candidates must be certified through a reputable program and maintain current BLS certification.
