Job Summary:
The ORT (Operating Room Technician) profession at the specified location involves providing specialized surgical assistance in an operating room setting. The role requires performing surgical technologist duties during elective and emergent surgeries, primarily focusing on orthopedic, gynecological, robotic, urology, general, ENT, and spine procedures. Candidates should have a strong background in heavy total joint and orthopedic surgeries, with a team-oriented approach to patient care.

Job Details:

• Position: Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician
• Shift: 10-hour days, call required (5 to 6 twelve-hour call shifts in a six-week period)
• Schedule: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/11/2026
• End Date: 01/09/2027
• Required Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of experience in surgical technology, prior travel experience required
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must be experienced in heavy total joint and orthopedic surgeries
  • Must be a team player, motivated, and able to stay on task
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
  • Must load all demographic information at submission including address, email, full date of birth, social security number, and full name
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Surgical technologist certification (CST)

Additional Information:

• HEAVY Total Joint and Orthopedic experience required
• RTO or schedule requests must be included at submission; approval will not be granted afterward
• 200-mile radius rule applies.
