Description
Job Summary:
Endoscopy Lab Specialist - Dallas, TX. This position involves supporting endoscopy procedures within a facility that specializes in minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. The role requires on-call availability, including one weekend per month and one weekday per week, to ensure continuous patient care and procedure readiness.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 10 hours shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with endoscopy procedures such as esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and bronchoscopy.
- Additional Information: The role involves assisting with procedures in the endoscopy laboratory, adhering to unit policies regarding attire and conduct, including no use of phones or earbuds during shifts. Floating to Interventional Radiology (IR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Day Surgery units may be required.
