Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in the Nights shift. This position involves providing specialized care to critically ill newborns in a Level IV/surgical NICU setting. The role requires adaptability to float to other units and adherence to hospital policies, including testing requirements and vaccination protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing, at least 4 years of experience as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse, PALS certification, NRP certification preferred, and work availability on at least one holiday during the contract period.
• Preferred Qualifications: NRP certification is preferred.
• Additional Information: Open to float to other units as needed. Candidates must comply with hospital testing policies, including being tested for nicotine use and drug screening, and must obtain the influenza vaccine without exceptions. The position starts on 10/12/2026 and concludes on 01/09/2027, with a focus on providing high-level neonatal care for critically ill infants including those with common diagnoses such as CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative care.
