Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in a healthcare facility located within the region. This role involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and the ability to support mothers through the childbirth process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027
• Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, valid American Heart Association (AHA) certificationsincluding Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, and clinical experience with obstetrical and neonatal patient care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Level I or Level II trauma facility, and experience with community hospital settings.
• Skills: Administration of blood and blood products, assists with vaginal delivery, monitor use of electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), manage pregnancy-induced hypertension, perform sterile vaginal exams, support patient during C-sections, and implement patient safety measures including PPE and isolation precautions.
• Additional Information: The role may include supporting interdisciplinary teams, following facility protocols such as SOPs, and maintaining compliance with local submission rules and certification requirements.
