Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in High Point, North Carolina. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac support, and post-surgical recovery. The role includes working within a highly skilled team dedicated to positive outcomes for high-acuity patient cases in a dynamic environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift with hours from 1900-0730, working 36 hours per week. The schedule cycle repeats every 6 weeks.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, at least 1 year of ICU experience, and a valid license to practice nursing in the state of North Carolina.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, arterial lines, titration of drips, ventilator care, CRRT, post open heart surgery care, and advanced cardiac support such as Impella or intra-aortic balloon pump.
• Other Responsibilities: Providing high acuity patient care in a Level 1 ICU, managing complex cardiac cases, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and supporting advanced technological equipment. Orientation includes a week of online training and a 12-hour departmental orientation with a nurse preceptor.
• Support and Resources: Continuous access to Respiratory Therapists, Telemetry monitoring, and 24/7 support from hospitalist and intensivist teams. The unit fosters a positive, team-oriented culture emphasizing high-tech, high-touch patient care.
