Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Floor nursing position is based in an organization that provides comprehensive patient care across a variety of medical and surgical units. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, performing thorough assessments, and supporting patient recovery through clinical expertise and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred; valid RN license; BLS certification; 1 year of experience; location must permit work in the designated area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical nursing and pre-operative and postoperative assessments.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves performing patient assessments, utilizing emergency equipment, documenting care accurately, and providing patient education. The role requires adherence to HIPAA guidelines, knowledge of surgical patient care, and the ability to evaluate pre-admission testing and patient responses to procedures. The start date is set for 10/19/2026, with an end date of 12/12/2026.
