Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care according to established nursing care plans, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring patient safety. The role emphasizes safe practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience; applicable education, certifications, and location requirements considered met for the position; experience requirement: 0 years

• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; develops individualized care and discharge plans; participates in patient rehabilitation, interdisciplinary team conferences, and documentation; provides patient education and collaborates with family and team members; delegates and supervises ancillary staff; maintains safety standards and promotes a positive work environment; assumes charge responsibilities after orientation; pursues ongoing professional development; manages supplies and clinical resources efficiently; prioritizes patient care activities to optimize outcomes.
