Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) position in a healthcare organization. The RN will ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care by developing and implementing individualized care plans, performing assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This 13-week assignment offers an opportunity to contribute to patient safety and recovery in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only); 0 years of experience required; appropriate nursing degree and licensure in the state where the facility is located.
• Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans; provides patient education and discharge planning; ensures accurate documentation of patient care activities; participates in team building and unit activities; manages supplies and equipment efficiently; assumes charge responsibilities following orientation; pursues ongoing professional development; demonstrates a calm, patient-focused approach to care delivery.
