Job Summary

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in California. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care within a healthcare facility, primarily focused on adult and pediatric populations. The role requires adherence to specific clinical protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); all certifications must be current.
• Education and Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience in acute care settings, including travel experience within California. Must have minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Licensure: Valid California State Nursing License uploaded to Nursys within the past 2 weeks.
• Skills: Ability to manage cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line care, intubation, ventilator management, wound care, and other specialized procedures. Proficient in interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs), managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, and using electronic medical records.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Experience with pediatric patients preferred. Candidate must be eligible for employment at the healthcare facility and meet compliance standards, including completion of required onboarding modules within 3-5 days of contract signing. The assignment starts on 10/26/2026 and concludes on 01/25/2027. Travel experience within California is required, and candidates must have at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in a similar setting.
