Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Department registered nurse position located at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing professional nursing direct patient care to neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults in a labor and delivery setting. The position requires fostering a collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams to support patients through childbirth and postpartum experiences.

Job Details

Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Womens Health Nursing (AWHONN) Intermediate level, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), valid or pending Washington state license, 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, neonatal stabilization procedures, and obstetric emergency protocols.
Float: Float rotation may be required with 0-3 shifts per month to assist with broader department needs. All floating from obstetrics is as helping hands, sitter/camera watching, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) type work.
Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document patient information per standards; delegate care appropriately; ensure professional development; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Additional Information: The position begins on 11/02/2026, with an end date of 05/03/2027. The shift involves variable coverage with week stretches between day and night shifts, including a guaranteed minimum of night shifts. The candidate must be willing to work every team members equitable share of weekend shifts.
