Job Summary:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position available in an acute care setting. This role involves caring for COVID-positive patients, cardiac patients post-angio-plasty, and those with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, and postoperative complications. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care within a 20-bed critical care unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; willing to wait for license submission; EPIC charting system; 50 mile radius rule; willingness to consider block scheduling; open to contracts shorter than 16 weeks
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for COVID patients in a critical care environment
• Additional Information: Nurses may float outside of ICU, with a low likelihood of being pulled outside the unit. Must include a copy of unexpired drivers license with submissions. Candidate must be comfortable caring for COVID patients, with approximately 50% of beds designated for COVID care.
