Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) in Lake Havasu City. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patient populations with complex medical conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, alcohol withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, continuous renal replacement therapy, and TCAR & TVAR procedures. The position offers a dynamic clinical environment within a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center.
Job Details:
- Location: Lake Havasu City
- Shift: Days, 3x12s, weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Certifications and Visit Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; 2 years of RN experience in ICU or Cardiovascular specialty; valid RN license; location in or greater than 60 miles from the facility
- Additional Information:
- Intensive care for adult and geriatric patients with critical cardiac and respiratory conditions
- Equipment used includes Baxter pumps, and medical records are maintained with Medhost
- Unit staffed with 16 beds and patient ratios of 1:2
- Responsibilities include management of complex medical cases and adherence to regional protocols
- Float: Float rotation may be required
