Description
Job Summary:
A Certified Operating Room Technician (OR TECH) is needed for a healthcare organization in a day shift setting. This position involves supporting surgical teams in a hospital environment, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained, and assisting during various surgical procedures. The assignment offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic surgical team in a reputable facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shift, mainly weekdays, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The start date is 10/12/2026, and the assignment ends on 01/18/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Technician certification, high school diploma or equivalent, current state licensure if applicable, and 0+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong skills in Urology and Transplant surgeries, familiarity with scrub techniques for transplant procedures, and the ability to adapt to high-acuity surgical environments.
- Additional Information: Must have OR TECH SKILLS CHECKLIST and have STRONG SKILLS in Urology and Transplant for Kidney, Liver, or Pancreas surgeries. Candidates must be able to scrub during transplant procedures. The start date is flexible to any Monday. This position requires scrub transplant skills and the ability to work a 10-hour daytime shift, with possible weekend rotation and call responsibilities.
