Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Located in a childrens hospital within a hospital, this position involves providing specialized care to infants in a 30-bed unit with an average daily census of 22-24 patients. The role requires a healthcare professional to start as soon as possible and involves working rotating shifts in a fast-paced neonatal environment.

Job Details

Position: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Shift Schedule: Rotating, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, and at least 1 year of experience in neonatal intensive care or a related field.
Additional Responsibilities: The NICU team works within a comprehensive childrens hospital setting. Travelers are not responsible for attending deliveries but are expected to float to inpatient units including Pediatrics, Pediatric Step Down, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). There is a conscious effort to match a healthcare professionals skill set to the specific patient needs when floating.
