Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing critical care to patients in the emergency department, requiring flexibility for a rotating evening/night shift schedule. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced environment with diverse case loads.

Job Details:

Schedule: Rotating evening/night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), and a nationally recognized de-escalation certification. A minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency nursing.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with dysrhythmia testing is preferred.
Additional Information: Orientation is held biweekly. Schedule requests are subject to managerial approval. Candidates must have reliable personal transportation as public transit is limited. Accurate work history details, including health system name, campus, bed count, EMR system, and trauma level, are required. Employment gaps over 30 days should be explained or documented. This position is not open to local candidates.
