Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse in a healthcare facility regionally located in Hickory, NC. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including performing procedures, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current state RN license, bachelors degree from an accredited nursing school, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire, no minimum experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting is preferred
- Additional Information: Performs patient assessments, assists with cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, documents care provided, monitors and reports patient condition to the healthcare team, collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care, and educates patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions. Responsible for adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards throughout assigned shifts.
