Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialty role located in a hospital setting. This position involves supporting open heart surgical procedures within the operating room environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care during complex cardiovascular surgeries. The assignment is designed for professionals available to work daytime hours, providing critical support in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a registered nurse with active state licensure, relevant clinical experience in operating room and open heart procedures, and familiarity with surgical protocols and patient care standards. No minimum experience requirement is specified, but at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiovascular or cardiac surgery nursing, proficiency with electronic medical records, and familiarity with sterilization and surgical asepsis practices.
• Additional Information: The role involves supporting various stages of open heart surgeries, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care. Flexibility to work scheduled shifts and adherence to hospital protocols are essential.
