Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a healthcare facility's surgical services department. The role involves providing perioperative patient care in a busy surgical environment, with a focus on various specialties including Robotics, General, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, Orthopedics, and Trauma. This position requires a minimum of two years of OR RN experience with proficiency in DaVinci Robots and Orthopedics procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), valid Virginia State License or proof of license status, at least 2 years of OR RN experience with Robotics, General, Gyn, Urology, Bariatrics, Orthopedics, and Trauma specialties, and NBSTSA Certification (no exceptions).
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves working in a surgical environment with a 17-bed operating room unit, where patient ratios are typically 1:1. All candidates must demonstrate experience with Robotics, General, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, Orthopedics, and Trauma, specifically with DaVinci Robots and Orthopedics.
