Description

Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized post-anesthesia recovery care to adult and pediatric patients. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing patient monitoring, pain control, and procedural sedation in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Evening shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- One (1) year of recent full-time clinical experience within the last three years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field
- Procedural Sedation Competency
- Minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in PACU environment
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in ER, ICU, or PACU environment
- Minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in pain management injection procedures
