Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nursing Professional in the healthcare setting will deliver specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a high-acuity environment. This role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care in accordance with established standards and the nursing process.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Additional Information: The position involves collecting relevant patient data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating outcomes, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Responsibilities include discharge planning, delegating duties appropriately, and providing education to patients and families. Candidates must be committed to patient safety and adhere to vaccination requirements as specified by the organization.
