Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available at a healthcare facility located in a hospital setting. The role involves providing evidence-based, patient-centered care within the scope of practice defined by the California Nursing Practice Act, adhering to regulatory requirements, standards of care, and hospital policies. The ICU RN is responsible for performing comprehensive nursing assessments, developing individualized care plans, implementing and evaluating interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (CA-RN), current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, 0+ years of experience, residential or relocation in the area preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), familiarity with electronic medical records, strong critical thinking skills
• Additional Information: The ICU RN will be responsible for monitoring patients' respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological status, managing advanced life support equipment, and responding to emergent clinical situations promptly. The role involves patient and family education, documentation of care, and upholding safety and compliance standards.
