Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized care in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a childrens hospital/Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The role requires float between units and adherence to a flexible schedule, primarily during day shifts.

Job Details
Position Description: WNTR BLOCK 1ST TIMERS - Level III NICU RN R10924. The role involves floating between units; no on-call requirement.
Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years NICU experience, with at least Level III experience preferred; valid state license; certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
Additional Responsibilities: Administration of blood & blood products, neonatal assessments, invasive monitoring, respiratory management, family teaching, and other NICU-specific procedures.
Experience: Prior experience with patient ratios of 1:2-4, charting system experience (Epic), and a minimum of 2 years in NICU preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and managing neonates 29-34 weeks gestation.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years and respond to past employment at Providence facilities if applicable.
