Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart nurse in Greenville, NC. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients in a busy CVOR environment. The position emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and technical proficiency in a highly specialized surgical setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 1 year of experience in operating room nursing or surgical services, current healthcare provider certification, and ability to circulate in the CVOR setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in cardiac operating room, EPIC electronic health record proficiency, and familiarity with local patient population.
• Additional Information: The role involves circulating duties and scrubbing in the CVOR for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries such as CABG, valve repairs, TAVR, aneurysm repairs, thoracotomies, and robotic procedures. Flexibility for call is not required but may be available. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, specialized surgical environment.
