Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing individualized patient care through the nursing process, advocating for patients and their families, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, performing assessments, developing care plans, and executing interventions specific to the OR setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts starting at 06:30, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California RN license, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, at least three years of recent RN experience in a nursing role, with a minimum of two years in a specialty area such as orthopedic, neurological, or robotics procedures, and an ADN or BSN degree
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in OR settings with neuro, ortho, and robotics procedures, ability to respond within 30 minutes during on-call periods, and demonstrated skills in nursing process, individualized assessment, patient care, nursing interventions, and patient and family education
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, working in a rotational schedule including weekends and on-call responsibilities with a 16-hour weekend on-call and a 24-hour weekday on-call within a 4-week period, with responses expected within 30 minutes
• Additional Information: The role requires coordination with the healthcare team, efficient documentation, delegation, patient education, and advocacy to promote high-quality patient outcomes
