Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a hospital setting is responsible for providing comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient childbirth experiences, monitoring fetal and maternal well-being, and educating patients and families about postpartum care and infant care practices.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, and current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. Minimum 0 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Labor and Delivery departments is highly desirable.
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to assess and respond quickly to obstetric emergencies, collaborate with obstetricians and neonatologists, and provide patient education about labor, postpartum recovery, and infant care. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential. The position is scheduled from 09/29/2026 to 12/28/2026, with a start date of September 29, 2026, and an end date of December 28, 2026.
