Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The position is scheduled for night shifts every other week, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to patients with diverse needs.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • At least 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a trauma level 1 or 2 setting.
    • Active VA or Compact nursing license at the time of submission.
    • Certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
    • Prior Cerner electronic medical record experience is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Active trauma certification such as ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses), TNCC, or ATLC (Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification).
  • Additional Information:
    • Travel experience is required for all Central positions.
    • Assignments are scheduled to end on Saturday, with the requirement to work every other weekend.
    • Locals within 60 miles are not accepted.
    • IVS approval is required from the manager, and the client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to the start due to census adjustments.
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification must be obtained before start.
    • Candidates must have worked at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years).
    • The assignment begins on 10/19/2026 and ends on 03/06/2027.
    • The day-to-day duties include rapid assessment, intervention, and effective patient management in the emergency setting.
