Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. The RN maintains the delivery of quality patient care by following the nursing care plan, supervising ancillary staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient safety, thorough assessments, effective communication, and discharge planning, contributing to positive health outcomes and a safe environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (CIRH only), and at least 2 years of bedside clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, documents accurately and timely in medical records, participates in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning, collaborates with team members, delegates appropriately, and initiates professional growth activities. The RN ensures safety through compliance with hospital policies, actively participates in team activities, maintains equipment and supply management, and assumes charge responsibilities following orientation.
