This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in a medical-surgical setting, adhering to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The registered nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care through collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring positive patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice or valid compact license; BLS certification; clinical experience in acute care, with at least one year in a similar setting within the past 12 months
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing; professional certification; additional related education or experience
• Additional Information: The registered nurse will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and revise individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient responses. Documentation must be legible, timely, and compliant with policies. The role may include supervising other licensed and non-licensed personnel, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and engaging in educational activities to support departmental growth.
