Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care in the Mother Baby unit. The RN will be responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care, developing individualized plans of care, performing therapeutic interventions, and managing patient care throughout the shift. The position is on a night shift schedule, requiring attentive, patient-centric care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, three days per week, with every other weekend and 3 out of 6 holidays required.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing); BLS must be AHA (American Heart Association) certification; NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification; minimum 3+ years of Mother Baby experience required; 2 years of experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing); additional certifications such as Advanced or C-EFM from AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses).
• Skills: Mother Baby nursing, patient assessment, care planning, therapeutic nursing interventions, care management, clinical documentation, evidence-based practice advocacy, patient-centric care, Mother Baby couplet care.
• Additional Information: Scrubs provided in navy blue; no on-call or float requirements; assignment duration from 09/21/2026 to 12/19/2026; minimum of 36 hours per week.
