Description
Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare organization located in the designated area. The role involves providing high-quality patient care to individuals in a step-down nursing environment. This position requires adaptability to float among medical, stepdown, intensive care unit (ICU), surgical, and oncology units, with a focus on stepdown patients. The assignment begins on 10/11/2026 and concludes on 01/09/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; two years of stepdown experience; prior travel nursing experience; current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; experience working with EMR systems, specifically Epic; ability to float between medical, stepdown, ICU, and surgical/oncology units.
- Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience is advantageous but not required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, with coverage across various units including medical, stepdown, ICU, and surgical/oncology.
- Additional Information: All demographical information such as full name, date of birth, social security number, full address, and email must be provided at the time of submission. RTO or schedule requests must be included upon initial submission; modifications after submission will not be approved. The position requires compliance with a 200-mile radius rule.
