Job Summary
PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing comprehensive post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal recovery outcomes, execute standards of nursing practice, and promote exceptional patient care across diverse age groups, including neonates to older adults.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides holistic care to patients, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing and revising the customer's plan of care, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and delegating activities as appropriate. The RN also participates in shared accountability and decision-making to continually enhance practice standards and environment of care.
• Required Qualifications: Minnesota license (temporary acceptable if applied for a permanent license), 2 years of critical care experience (ICU/ED), previous PACU experience, travel experience, Epic electronic medical record experience, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross, ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, experience with pediatric and geriatric patient populations, trauma Level I experience, 2 years of relevant work history, skills checklist current to 1 year, and documentation of two supervisory references with employment dates.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Clinicians must list prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, and/or Blaze Health LLC on their resume. All RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal, as exceptions cannot be made after submission.
