Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a critical access, Level III trauma center setting. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill adult and adolescent patients, with responsibilities including managing ventilated patients, arterial lines, and high-acuity conditions. The position offers the opportunity to work on a flexibly scheduled shift, floating between units based on skill sets and facility needs, with an emphasis on team collaboration and high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Work hours scheduled to a minimum of 36 hours per week, with shifts expected to follow a 12-hour day schedule
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (Compact license accepted), at least 1 year of ICU experience, certifications in ACLS and BLS, and specialized skills including arterial line management, ventilator management, high-flow nasal cannula, and vascular access procedures
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronically charting in Epic, prior community hospital or trauma level II/III experience, familiarity with managing complex adult patient conditions such as sepsis, CHF, and post-operative care
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 2:1 in ICU; 1:4 in medical-surgical float scenarios
• Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for assignment. Willingness to float to other units based on skill set is required. Must be flexible with schedule around holidays, with a commitment to work 3 of 5 holidays. Candidates should not contact facilities directly unless scheduled via the account manager. Preference for candidates comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
