Job Summary:
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse in the New York region provides specialized patient care in a high-acuity setting. The role involves managing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts with 11.5 hours per shift, a minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, current CPR certification, and at least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in a similar setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in progressive care or step-down units; certifications such as ACLS and PALS are advantageous.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing patient-centered care, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, and following standard nursing protocols to maintain safety and quality.
