Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a critical access hospital in Floyd County. The position starts on October 12, 2026, and spans approximately 13 weeks. The role involves providing specialized maternity care in a fast-paced environment, primarily during day shifts. This opportunity is suitable for experienced nurses with a background in labor and delivery services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 13 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery; CPR certification (AHA); experience working in critical access hospitals; proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records (EMR) system; flexibility to work scheduled shifts from 10/12/2026 through 01/09/2027.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a critical access hospital setting.
• Additional Information: The candidate should have experience in a high-acuity maternal/newborn environment, demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently during day shifts.
