Job Summary:
Surgical Services Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant (CSTFA) in Winchester, VA. This full-time position involves supporting operating room procedures in a diverse surgical environment. The role requires a knowledgeable professional committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shifts, Monday through Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant (CSTFA) with at least 2 years of experience, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, NBSTSA Certification, VA State License or licensed status, and VA Privileging/credentialing completed prior to onboarding within 24 hours of confirmation
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in vascular surgery and handling adult patient cases
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role is based in a 17-bed surgical unit supporting diverse adult patient procedures, with a focus on vascular, trauma, general, orthopedics, urology, plastics, and gynecology surgeries. The position emphasizes adherence to facility dress code policies, specifically blue scrubs. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in supporting complex surgeries, including robotic assistance.
