Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) Aspirus Wausau. This 13-week contract position involves providing specialized nursing care in the catheterization lab setting, primarily during day shifts. The role includes execution of core responsibilities in cath and electrophysiology (EP) procedures with potential float to other local facilities as needed, supporting a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Primarily 8-hour day shifts, typically from 0800 to 1630, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; Associate Degree or Certificate; minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in cath lab or EP environments; charting experience preferred, with Epic experience desired.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other Central Aspirus locations if needed.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: One night of call per week, one weekend per month, one backup per week, with potential for additional call with a 30-minute response time.
• Additional Information: The role demands a resilient, social, and adaptable candidate capable of managing change effectively. Scrub colors may vary, and the position includes a guarantee of set hours weekly, with exceptions during holidays and flu season policies requiring mask usage if declined vaccination. All candidates must be prepared for potential participation in low census unbillable hours, with call back pay applicable when called in.
