Description
Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position available in an outpatient setting. The role involves providing specialized recovery care for adult and pediatric patients following surgical procedures. It requires attention to detail and proficiency in critical care interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days; 8 hours per day; 40 hours per week
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS); 0 years of experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field; Procedural Sedation Competency; minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the PACU environment; minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or PACU environment; minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in Outpatient setting; minimum two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures
- Additional Information: The role is scheduled for 8 hours per day on dayshift with a start date of October 5, 2026, and an end date of January 2, 2027.
