Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing direct clinical care to patients in a maternity setting, including assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions. The role includes supervising staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate care, supporting the facility's Chief Nursing Officer, and maintaining clinical competency within the team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); Experience or training in labor and delivery nursing; Location requirements; Minimum of 0 years of related experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Experience working in a hospital or similar healthcare environment
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
