Job Summary:
Labor And Delivery Nurse (L&D) in Oshkosh, WI. This position entails providing specialized care for antepartum, postpartum, laboring, and gynecological post-operative patients, primarily those 20 weeks and up. The role involves supporting various patient types and working within a Level III Trauma Center with Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) capabilities and a Primary Stroke Center. The provider will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care during night shifts to meet the needs of the facility's obstetric population.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Weekend rotation every other weekend, with manager approval for time off (RTO). No on-call obligations. Night before and after major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are required.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• End Date: 01/16/2027
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), FHM (Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring)
  • Experience with antepartum, postpartum, laboring, gynecological surgeries, circulating for C-sections, and supporting mother and infant recovery
  • Education and experience: No minimum years of experience specified, but at least 5 years preferred and 0 years minimum experience required for consideration
  • Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin
• Support on the Unit:
  • CNA: 1:13 support ratio
  • OB techs assist as scrubs during C-sections
  • Charge nurse: light assignment
  • Phlebotomy/RN: responsible for blood draws
  • OB-GYN and Midwife on call at night
  • OB-CRNA available 24/7 on weekends
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring conducted at nurses station and bedside
  • Unit secretary available 0800-1400
• Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, Milktraker, CPN
• Orientation: At least one shift on unit to learn flow
• Additional Notes:
  • Scrub color: Procedural blues
  • Parking: Free on site
  • No floating required
