Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a fast-paced healthcare facility located in Colorado. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER setting, requiring a strong foundation in emergency care procedures, clinical skills, and patient communication. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, assisting physicians with procedures, and ensuring safety and compliance within the department.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required, bachelor degree preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure within the state of Colorado. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire, or 12 months if a new graduate. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire, or 12 months if a new graduate. Successful completion of Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months of hire. Successful completion of Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) course within 4 months of hire (if in Med/Surg). Minimum of 1 year ER/Inpatient experience preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: TNCC course completion, experience with in ER/Inpatient settings.
  • Additional Information: The role requires potential exposure to infectious waste, chemicals, and environmental factors such as noise, heat, cold, and weather conditions. The position involves physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs. The candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
