Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse position is located in a healthcare facility where the role involves providing specialized care to post-operative patients. The PACU Nurse will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and supporting patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring safe and efficient discharge from the post-anesthesia setting. This position provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and excellent patient care skills.

• Shift Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), EPIC electronic health record (EHR) experience, minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience in critical care or Post Anesthesia Care Unit, airway management experience, experience with central lines and post-procedure care, and ability to recognize and intervene in life-threatening conditions.

• Additional Information: The candidate must be able to read, write, hear, and verbally communicate effectively in English. Travel may be required in accordance with the job's duties. A valid California Drivers License and proof of liability insurance may be needed if a personal vehicle is used on work-related duties. Compliance with onboarding and testing requirements is expected prior to start date. All documentation must be submitted within specified deadlines.
