Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse position available in an acute care teaching facility. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care for open heart surgeries and other cardiovascular procedures. The position requires a minimum of two years' experience in the operating room and offers a day shift with flexible scheduling options.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, beginning on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Two years of operating room experience, including experience in operating room open heart procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac surgery and familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Additional Information: The role involves on-call responsibilities 2-3 days per week, with weekend coverage every other week. Float within scope to main operating room if needed. No local radius restrictions apply. Pending state license submission required.
• Facility & Patient Care Details: Patients typically include adults with various cardiovascular diagnoses. The unit has 11 patient beds and supports interdisciplinary care.
