Description
Job Summary:
Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment, primarily during night shifts. The role requires active licensure and recent experience in OB/Perioperative settings, including complex procedures such as C-sections, D&C, PPTL, and D&E.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), including weekends and holidays; shifts predominantly nights.
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license (or compact, if applicable to Rhode Island), BLS certification (American Heart Association), minimum 2 years recent OB/Perioperative experience, surgical/perioperative experience specific to C-sections, D&C, PPTL, D&E.
- Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification.
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a women & infants hospital setting, with contract dates from 11/02/2026 to 01/02/2027. Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are required without exemptions. Candidates with no time off requests will be prioritized.
