Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Laconia, NH. This position involves providing acute care on a Medical Surgical unit with a focus on patient-centered nursing practices. The role is suited for nurses with experience in Telemetry and acute care settings, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with the potential for emergency floating to additional facilities as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active New Hampshire (NH) or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; Cerner electronic medical record experience (preferred but not required); must have 2+ years of recent experience in an acute care setting with specialty experience in Medical Surgical. Valid licenses verification with all active RN licenses and NURSYS Report must be provided at the time of submission; RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included at time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Telemetry (Tele) experience; recent experience with Cardizem and Insulin Drips (insulin for hyperglycemia, not diabetic ketoacidosis); experience with Phenobarbital in Tele; experience working in a hospital setting and documentation of travel experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable with floating to additional facilities such as Concord Hospital-Franklin and other units on an emergency basis. Local candidates (less than 50 miles) will be considered at the local rate. A recent resume demonstrating at least 2 years of relevant experience is required, along with two recent specialty Charge or Manager RN references.
