Description
Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Electrophysiology Lab (EP LAB) at a healthcare organization. The role involves supporting electrophysiology procedures with experience in cardiac rhythm management, moderate sedation, and Epic electronic medical record system. The assignment requires flexibility, on-call availability, and a minimum of two years of related clinical experience.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating late shifts. No weekends or holidays required. On-call duty is included, requiring late stay coverage, which may extend working hours.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrophysiology laboratory or similar setting; BLS and ACLS certifications; experience in circulating, monitoring, and assessment during procedures, including moderate sedation. Epic experience is required for electronic health record management; prior experience with Cupid Epic and Change Healthcare is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience in electrophysiology procedures is advantageous.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This position involves caring for adult-geriatric patients with cardiac rhythm issues, requiring comprehensive assessment and procedural support.
