Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical (MS) nurse on the 3 East cardiac/neuro unit in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized patient care in a high-acuity environment, requiring high proficiency in cardiac and neuro patient management. The assignment is scheduled for nights, with a focus on cardiac/neuro care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027
- Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Minimum of 4 years current experience in Medical Surgical, Cardiac, or Neuro units. Telemetry experience and basic dysrhythmia course completion are strongly required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Meditech Expanse experience.
- Float: Willingness to float to other units as needed.
- Additional Information:
- Must include a skills checklist demonstrating high proficiency in cardiac and neuro patients.
- Candidate must upload their Massachusetts nursing license and all required certifications with their profile.
- Personal scrubs of any color acceptable.
- Travelers are required to work two of the specified holiday periods.
- Perm address must be included in the profile; all scheduling requests must be made at submission.
- No block scheduling considerations will be accepted.
- All RTO requests must be included in profile at time of submission; late requests may lead to rescinded offers.
- Candidate must have reliable personal transportation.
