Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse in the local area. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care according to professional standards, coordinating patient care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position is scheduled for night shifts, requiring at least 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); 1 year of nursing experience required.

• Additional Information: The RN will participate in patient assessment, education, and care planning activities, including performing bedside point of care testing and utilizing healthcare organization standards and policies. The role involves prioritizing care tasks, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting discharge planning while promoting a safe and clean environment.
